EV09: EV or Exposure Value is an alternate system of setting exposure as opposed to the shutter speed/f-stop system. At ISO100, EV 15 is equivalent to 1/125 sec, at F16. This is the exposure one should set on a sunny, (distinct shadows), midday. The FUJI A303 camera has a fixed ISO sensor speed of 100. With the camera's “EXIF” data the 'Exposure Value' can be easily computed. This allows one to estimate what the light level was when a photo was taken. EV 4 would indicate a light level equivalent to nighttime interior lighting (1/2 second at F2.8).

When changes are made to a camera "photo" I give it a unique Image ID file name. This is best explained by example:

080517_1 = image created from a single photo. The first photo shot on May 17, 2008.
08         =  year; 2 digit format.
  08       =  month; 2 digit format.
    17     =  day; 2 digit format.
      _ = frame number of photo, of the day, follows underscore.
       1 = first photo shot that day.

080524P8_9: A composite, panoramic image created from photos 8 and 9, shot of May 24, 2008.
If an "M" appears in place of the "P" above, the image is still a "Composite".   An image consisting of 2 or more photos which are identically framed, overlaid, and perfectly aligned.   Portions of the top photo, where Grandma didn't smile, are erased to reveal where she did smile in the photo below.
090224P66s73: The "s" between the first and last frame numbers indicates not all the frames between were used.
